This will be our first year attending SprintsGiving! SprintsGiving is hosted by The Academy of the Holy Names. Find out more at Regatta Central.

When: Saturday, 11/16/2024 - This regatta has been canceled by the organizers due to hurricane damage to the course.

Location: Tampa Bypass Canal, 7117 US-301, Tampa FL 33610

Parking: Parking is being handled by USF Rowing Club. Limited Parking will be available at Harney Park, and more parking will be available at the Southwest Florida Water Management District, located at 7601 US-301, Tampa, FL 33637.

Student-Athlete Arrival Time: All rowers must arrive at the tent by 6:30 AM.  This requires rowers to
be dropped by 6:15AM to give enough time to walk to the tent.

Club Volunteers: The success of this regatta depends on parent volunteers! A volunteer sign-up will be available closer to the regatta.

***Host Volunteers:  Regatta host volunteer opportunities will be available closer to the regatta. Hours volunteered for the regatta host count toward your volunteer hour commitment.

Boat assignments: Boat lineups can be found here, and will be updated by the coaches closer to the event.

Weather:  Look at your favorite weather app or website to check if rain/cold conditions are possible. Weather
predictions can change daily.

TeamSnap App: A reminder, as stated in the participation policy you signed, student-athletes and parents will be expected to use only HHSRC platforms, which are TeamSnap and Remind, for official team communications. Use TeamSnap, especially on Regatta days, to ask or answer questions, and receive race updates. Now is a good time to double-check your account and ensure your contact information is correct.

What to bring:

  • Student-athletes are required to wear their Uni
  • Hats/visors and sunscreen
  • Medications/inhalers, etc.
  • Chairs/Blankets/Binoculars
  • Things to keep you occupied during downtime-homework for rowers, books, etc.
  • Jackets and rain gear
  • Money for food trucks.
  • Money for regatta shirts
