Family Volunteer Requirements

Our club depends on parent volunteers. For each season, Fall and Spring, each family is obligated to contribute 10 hours of their time (20 hours annually).  

Buy-Out Fee: The club member's family may elect to "buy" out their obligation at a cost of $20 per hour.

Deficit Fee: Families not meeting the volunteer hourly commitment by the posted deadline (usually 2 weeks before the end of each season) will be assessed the prorated fee of $20 per hour for any deficit.

It will be up to you to get in touch and step forward with your commitment to helping. Look for e-mails announcing volunteer opportunities and requests for help and let us know what other talents your family can bring to the Club.

Board of Directors (BOD)

Want to serve in a more formal position?  Become an HHS Rowing Club Board Member.  We need parents to step up and help run this club every year.  There are no paid professionals, other than our Coaches.  All parents are welcome to attend our normal board meetings. There will be specific times allotted for public comments at the beginning of each meeting. The remainder of the time will be BOD discussion only and may be closed from public attendances.  Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month.  Please email the club for more information.
