Open to all Middle School Boys and girls! No experience needed! Learn a new sport, stay fit and have fun!
First Day of Spring Season: Jan 8th, 2020
Last Day of Spring Season: March 7th, 2020
Wednesday Practice Time: 4:20 pm (or immediately after school) until 6 pm
Saturday Practice Time: 10:30 am until 12:30 pm
Practice Location: Tampa River Center Boathouse at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park
Cost for the Spring Season:
There are two attendance options:
- Option 1: Once a Week on Wednesdays OR Saturdays $170
- Option 2: Twice a Week on Wednesdays AND Saturdays $270
Fees are for the entire Spring Season paid once during registration.
There is also a $25 non-refundable registration fee, regardless of the attendance option chosen.

Regattas
Middle School rowers will attend two Regattas. One on February 1st in Orlando and the other on March 7th in Tampa. These regattas are included in the fee and rowers will need to wear their middle school rowing tee shirts. The only other expense will be to volunteer to bring food for our hospitality tent or pay a nominal food charge. Details to be provided on our website and in Remind.
There will be no Middle School practice on Saturday, February 22nd, since all coaches will be attending a High School Regatta.

Before rowers can hit the water, all parts of the registration process (club forms, waivers & fees) must be submitted.
Registration Forms
Registration requires that you complete and upload two documents: Emergency Medical Release, City of Tampa Julian B Lane Registration and Waiver Form.
These documents must be downloaded, filled out, scanned, and saved as a PDF file before you start this registration process.

If you attended the Fall Season, you do not need to re-do these forms, but please upload the same forms you submitted in the Fall.

US Rowing Waiver
Registration also requires that each rower become a US Rowing member and electronically sign the US Rowing waiver.
A Basic Membership is all that is required. They do charge a $9.75 admin fee.
About TeamSnap Registration
IMPORTANT: Please use a parent or guardian's TeamSnap account to complete the registration process. Please do not use the student-athlete's email. You can add the student-athlete later into your account. This will ensure that everyone is on our communications list. Please also complete the TeamSnap registration on a laptop or desktop.
When clicking on the [Register] button below, you will be prompted to either sign-in to TeamSnap or to sign-up and create a new TeamSnap account. We use TeamSnap for all our registration forms, payments and communications. The TeamSnap account that is signed into or created during registration is the one that will be responsible for making payments.
If you find that you cannot finish the registration all in one session, you may close your browser window (after clicking "save and continue") and come back later to complete it.
BEFORE YOU START THE REGISTRATION PROCESS, Please complete the following items that are required at the time you register.:
- Date of Birth Document Confirmation: Each year, the Florida Scholastic Rowing Association (FSRA) requires date of birth documentation in order for student-athletes to compete in FSRA District and State Regattas. This can be any state or federal-issued document with the student-athlete’s name and date of birth: birth certificate, passport (not expired), or driver's license/permit. Please email one of these documents whenpromted in the registration processwith the following format for the document name: lastname.firstname.DOB
- Please download the 23/24 Participation Policy. Read, sign, scan and name in the following format: lastname.firstname.2324Policy. This signed policy, by parent and student-athlete, is required when registering.
