2021 Super Bowl Schedule

Tampa will be hosting the 2021 Super Bowl and will be using Julian B Lane park as well as the Tampa River Center Boathouse for events and operations.  The Clubs practices will be impacted.  See the calendar for daily information about boathouse access and when and where practice will be held during this time.

There are several blocks of dates that will impact our regular schedule:

• Jan 16th through Jan 25th - Boathouse access restricted.  Only credentialed personnel allowed in boathouse.  Special parking restrictions in place.  Only rowers and coaches will be credentialed.
• Jan 26th through February 8th - Boathouse closed to all rowing teams.
• Feb 9th - Normal boathouse access and schedule resumes.

We will hold normal practice at the boathouse through Jan 25th but will have have to observe special parking procedures between Jan 16th and Jan 25th.

While the boathouse is closed, we will hold a modified land practice schedule at the Seminole Garden Center.

Special Parking Restrictions

Both the North and South Lots will be closed.  A special DOT parking lot, in the grass, will be made available south of Blake High School and north of 275.  From that lot you must enter the park under the Laurel street bridge and pass through a checkpoint located there.  Only credentialed personnel will be allowed passed the checkpoint.  Coaches will be at the checkpoint checking badges and taking temperatures.

The Dog Parking lot will be available, but there are only 17 spots, so finding an open one will be a challenge.

Special Parking restriction on Jan 16th

• The special DOT lot will be available from 6:30am to noon only
• Cars will be towed if left beyond noon

Special Parking restriction on Jan 18th

• The special DOT lot will NOT be available to anyone
• Park in the city, or on Doyle Carlton Dr.
• Drop off and pickup allowed along Green Street (no parking)

Special Parking restrictions from Jan 19th through Jan 22nd

• The special DOT lot will be available from 3:30pm to 8:30pm only

Special Parking restrictions from Jan 23rd through Jan 25th

• The special DOT lot will NOT be available to anyone
• Park in the city, or on Doyle Carlton Dr.
• Drop off and pickup allowed along Green Street (no parking)
