The 42nd Southern Sprints will be held on February 9, 2025 at the Charles and
Ruth Clemente Sports and Recreation Center and hosted by the Florida Tech Crew. FInd our more at Regatta Central.

This event is required for Juniors and optional for seniors.

When: Sunday, February 9, 2025

Arrival Time: 8:30 AM - Athletes, wear your Uni

Location: Southern Sprints is held on the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) campus at the Charles and Ruth Clemente Center,  3011 Panther Place, Melbourne, FL 32901. The FIT campus is a 134-mile drive from HHS. You may consider staying at a hotel overnight Saturday before the race. HHSRC does not cover hotel expenses.

Parking and Directions: There is a parking lot in front of the Clemente Center. For directions, follow this link.

What to Bring:

• Athletes: Required HHSRC Uniform (“Unis”)
• Athletes: Please bring your own water bottles
• Parents: Wear your HHSRC gear
• Medications/inhalers, etc.
• Things to keep you occupied during downtime-homework for rowers, books, etc.

Hotel: The FIT Melbourne campus is a 134-mile drive from HHS. You may consider staying at a hotel overnight Saturday before the race. HHSRC does not cover hotel expenses.

1. Go to https://waivers.regattacentral.com/SS2025
2. Search for your club/team
3. Enter the athlete’s last name and birthdate
4. Select your athlete record and select ‘Next’
   • NOTE: If your record is not found, it is likely that the last name and/or birthdate do not match the information on your team’s roster. Contact your club administrator to ensure your record is listed and the information is correct.
5. Follow the steps to complete the waiver
