Adult SafeSport Certification

If you are turning 18 during the regatta seasons (August 1-May 31) you are required to complete the 90-minute Adult SafeSport Certification by your 18th birthday in order to participate on the team and also participate in regattas.

Please note: If a student-athlete prefers to wait until they are closer to their 18th birthday to complete the adult certification, they must complete the under 18 certification by August 12, 2024. Please follow this link for returning student-athletes.

1. Go to https://safesporttrained.org/ and log in to your account.
2. Find "Catalog" on the SafeSport Trained homepage and see options for available courses.
3. Select the course 'SafeSport Trained Core NGB1' Curriculum. This course name may change, please contact the club if you are unsure of the course name.
4. Once the course is completed, you will receive a PDF certificate of completion, which shows
5. 1. Student-athletes name
   2. Date of course completion
