Novice Regatta

Even though this regatta is for novice rowers only, varsity rowers who are not participating in Southern Sprints are expected to attend.
When: Saturday, January 31, 2026
Location: Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake
Student-Athlete Arrival Time: 6:30 AM
Parking/Entry Fee: Passes to access the park must be purchased in advance by clicking here. Parking passes are required for all entering past the guard gate, including to drop off rowers and boat/hospitality trailers. This is a requirement from the City of Orlando. Passes will be checked by LBRA attendants after vehicles pass through the guard gate. ***Saturday entry fees will go up to $15 a car!

Boat Assignments: Boat lineups can be found here, and will be updated by the coaches closer to the event. Race times may change without notice.

Regatta photos: We have an archive of regatta and team event photos of over 10 years, and it can only continue with contributions from our parents and student-athletes. Additionally, we use the images in the Awards Banquet slideshow! Upload photos from the Novice Regatta to this folder.
Club Volunteers: The success of this regatta depends on parent volunteers! A volunteer sign-up will be available closer to the regatta.

What to wear: Student-athletes are required to wear their unisuit.

All parents, family, and fans who would like to eat HHSRC Hospitality food $15 per person for a breakfast and lunch, menu TBA as the park does not allow the use of grills. Please pay HERE by Friday, January 24th. Student-athletes' food is included in the membership dues.
