FSRA West District Championship Regatta

Hosted by Florida Scholastic Rowing Association and Sarasota Crew, this regatta is for all rowers.

When: Saturday, March 28, 2026 - tentatively planned for this date. The regatta host can't make reservations until the fall, as the Tampa Bypass Canal only accepts applications within six months of the event date.

 

Location: Tampa Bypass or Nathan Benderson Park

Racecourse Update: We will be racing on 1500 meter course because there is a large swimming event on the 2k course (where we usually are) the scheduled for the same day. Review this map for race course. ***UPDATE: The rented Team Tents are now located on the island's east side. See this map for details.

⏰ Student-Athlete Arrival Time: 6:30 AM at the boat trailer. Anticipate traffic delays and parking to arrive on time. Student-athletes are required to wear their unisuit.

Parking: $15 on the island. *Parking instructions may change without notice. Please follow posted signs the morning of the regatta.

TeamSnap App: A reminder, as stated in the participation policy you signed, student-athletes and parents will be expected to use only HHSRC platforms, which are TeamSnap and Remind, for official team communications. Use TeamSnap, especially on Regatta days, to ask or answer questions, and receive race updates. Now is a good time to double-check your account and ensure your contact information is correct.

Boat Assignments: Boat lineups will be provided by the coaches closer to the event here. Race times may change without notice.

Club Volunteers: The success of this regatta depends on parent volunteers! A volunteer sign-up will be available closer to the regatta.

All parents, family, and fans who would like to eat HHSRC Hospitality food ($15 for a hot breakfast and hot lunch). Please pay HERE by Friday, March 28TH. Student-athletes' food is included in the membership dues.
