Our club depends on parent volunteers. For each season, Fall and Spring, each family is obligated to contribute 15 hours of their time, and/or bring needed items to regattas, or they can elect to "buy" out their obligation at a cost of $15 per hour.

If you sign up to bring needed items to a regatta, each sign up is equivalent to $15 of items and equates to 1 hour of service.

Each family is expected to volunteer during each of their enrolled season(s). Rowers may help fulfill this obligation as well.

If a family is unable or prefers to not volunteer, the "opt out" fee for each hour equates to $15. Close to the end of the season, hours will be reconciled and any deficits will be required to be bought out.

It will be up to you to get in touch and step forward with your commitment to help. Look for e-mails announcing volunteer opportunities and requests for help and let us know what other talents your family can bring to the Club.

The HHS Rowing Club is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt
organization and contributions are tax deductible.  Fees and dues cover only a portion of the expenses of the club.  Operating funds are supplemented by club fundraisers throughout the year.  Parents
and rowers are encouraged to support and participate in planning and running these important events, with each rower responsible for raising at least $300 per year for the club.  There will be numerous opportunities throughout the year to achieve this goal as guided by our fundraising team.
